These aerial photos show how Hurricane Charley affected the landscape in the Charlotte Harbor area. Below you will see a map pointing out the location of the affected area shown in the aerial photos, followed by the actual photos.

This small peninsula was impacted by the western eyewall of Charley.

As the before and after photos illustrate, this area of land once teaming with trees and shrubs has almost been completely stripped as a result of Hurricane Charley. The before photos are from February 2004, the after photos were taken approximately one week after Charley made landfall.
